Injection Moulding Process Engineer

Qualifications & Education
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering,
Polymer Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in injection molding, with a minimum of 2 years in medical
device manufacturing (e.g., syringes, needles, or other plastic medical
components).
Good knowledge of plastic injection molding processes, including troubleshooting
and optimization.
Experience with Different types of polymers such as Polypropylene (PP),
Polyethylene (PE) an others.
Familiarity with ISO 13485 (Medical Devices) and GMP (Good Manufacturing
Practices) is preferred.
Preferred Skills & Additional Knowledge:
Proficiency in injection molding machine setup, process validation, and cycle time
optimization.
Strong understanding of mold parts, hot runner systems, and cooling systems.
Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting for defects like flash,
short shots, sink marks, warping, or burns.
Familiarity with mold maintenance and repair coordination.
Knowledge of Electrical Components used in injection molding.
Soft Skills & Competencies
Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
Excellent teamwork and leadership abilities to coordinate with production, QC,
and maintenance teams.
Effective communication skills to report findings, suggest improvements, and
train operators.
